What You Should Know
The XYWAV and XYREMS REMS requires that:
- All patients must be enrolled in the XYWAV and XYREM REMS by the patient's healthcare provider.
- Each pediatric patient must have a caregiver who is counseled by the healthcare provider.
- Prescriptions for XYWAV and XYREM are only dispensed and shipped to patients who are enrolled in the REMS with documentation of safe use conditions.
- XYWAV and XYREM will be dispensed only by the REMS Certified Pharmacy.

Healthcare Provider enrolls you in the XYWAV and XYREM REMS.
To receive XYWAV or XYREM, all patients must be enrolled in the XYWAV and XYREM REMS. Your healthcare provider will submit your enrollment and prescription.
Complete Your Call with the Certified Pharmacy
The Certified Pharmacy will call you to discuss your insurance, confirm that your healthcare provider reviewed the Patient Quick Start Guide or Brochure for Pediatric Patients and their Caregivers with you, go over your medical history, and provide instructions on how to take and store XYWAV or XYREM. You must complete this call before receiving your first shipment.
